The best of both worlds
Uni’s back... and what do you know, I’m sick again. It feels like VCE all over again, lack of sleep – in exchange for more time studying... constantly feeling lethargic and weak, and that “runny nose” at around the clock... I can’t do this again. Decided what I need to do is to rest up... and get back to 110% and also TRY to get at least 7hrs of sleep a night.
Anyway... my first real “rant”. Something just really hits a nerve... it’s not something I can say out loud since it’s such a “sensitive” topic... but it should definitely be addressed... Because I hate how you pretend like it doesn’t matter and just “expect” it now... and how you just “laugh” it off rather than actually think people are serious. Because if you keep doing what you’re doing and it keeps affecting me, one day I’m going to snap again... and this time I don’t know what I’ll do. I’m generally decent at keeping my anger to myself... Not letting it show. Maybe what I do need is to let it show...
On a different note; I never thought I’d ever consider wanting the best of both worlds... I mean; those who do are usually looked down upon and despised. This stuff only happens in dramas and movies, but not in real life... But I’ve made my choice; just hope it’s the right one... Typically – such thoughts wouldn’t have ever crossed my mind, so why is it they are? I still hate this feeling... and maybe it is true – if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten... Sorry for the formality, the weather is defs getting to me. Haha, don’t you love ambiguity? =)
Just had 6 hours sleep... and woke up; going to eat and sleep some more...?

Mid Semester Break
Hey guys!! Me again HOHOHO... anyway... its 3:45 am in the morning... and my mid sem break is coming to an end...
so... let me enlighten you readers on my holiday "fun" haha...
My break (technically) started last Thursday... but I had been in holiday mode for the whole previous week before that. Which was extremely bad... because I had two mid-terms... one on wed (RAD1021 physics) and one on thurs (RAD1061 science) LOL... and for physics I was literally screwed.. I had mucked around all semester.. and didn't know much.. but yeh.. I did alright.. passed.. BEAT JOE (who was a great tutor for the 4 days before physics HAHA) and was overall quite happy with the result. And then on wed night.. kinda ceebs'd studying because of my whole holiday mode - mind set... but anyway, Thursday came, and I did the exam.. it was all on the computer, multiple choice.. we had to critique a series of radiographs (what is right and what is wrong about them) but there was always like 8 options.. and it said "pick the correct choices, marks will be deducted for picking the wrong one" so I was like OMG WTF OK focus.. HAHA.. but yeh.. did surprisingly well too, considering the ambiguity of the format..
Overall, mid-terms were good.. but I was so unprepared and stressing.. and I hate that.. when it comes to studies.. I hate the feeling of not getting something; but I didn’t realise that uni is defs not like VCE.. thankfully to suntard's and my self’s little (or should I say late!) study sesh till 12am on Tuesday night after the ASEAN meeting, I was able to do alright in physics haha.
OKAY !! all exam stuff aside !! yes!! Thursday night was - ASEAN lounge night !! omg.. okay.. where to begin !! well.. met up for "pres" at Justin’s house.. had a couple of coronas to kick things off.. haha bus’s down to the city got to the venue "fashionably late" around 9:30 ish hahah.. which was pretty good.. coz things had already got started.. LOL.. straight to the bar !! few shots of tequila.. then went to mingle a bit !! by the time I got there.. sunny was already latersss.. typical light weight.. LOL joking.. she was sober :).. saw heaps of familiar faces (some which I forgot names too LOL) from camp and uni..also the Balwyn guys and Donny ppl =) + many moreee haha..danced into the night and drank "a little too much" more... spent heaps of time in the smoking area (not smoking offcourse) talking crap and doing silly things APPARENTLY... LOL but yeh.. all good fun.. haha.. all in all awesome night.. ended up cabbing home around 3am =]
FRIDAY - was planning 2 take it pretty chill.. woke up well into the arvo (awesome sleep!), the guys had JAAYYYYSUNNN DEHHRULOOOhh at eve.. but yeh.. ceebs'd going, headed down to box hill with them for some dumplings.. omg.. craving dave&camy's dumplings atm.. thank god we didn’t go to the inside one (will rant more about that later) !! yeh.. ordered 4 plates of dumplings.. Eric Ian rowan and I had NOOOO trouble eating them with ease :P haha.. Anyway headed down to city to meet up with suntard and co for some drinks with Alex at chogaos.. trained down to the city and met up with ADAM yong !!! (who had been waiting at MC for ages) the boys left for JD, luckily DOT was there so she was able 2 keep me company while sunnyTARD made her way to city LOL.. anyways.. bout 10-15mins later.. the girls came, went to chogaos for a while, chat, drank etc.. haha ended up leaving around 11ish..? the guys went 2 maccas for a bit.. I saved my stomach tho !! wanted kebabs LOL.. den yehhh =] decided to catch the last train back to bh, sunny came with; I don’t know why.. HAHA; went to grab some kebabs
.. anyway I won’t go into detail here LOL but yepp.. another chill'd night had a fun time =)
SATARDAY - relax day....... omg I don't even remember what I did on sat.. LOL yeh.. think I just took it easy.. did some studying.. ended up going pancake parlour for supper with the boys !! GOOOOOOOOOOD catch up sesh hahah.. most of us were going colonial LUXY girls the next night.. so we were hyping a bit bout that haha.. shared a banana split with Adam.. was still hungry after that.. so we went 2 maccas.. where I had a fillet o' fish meal MMM, fish = protein!! haha jksjks.. headed back to rowans house after that where we camwhored on Jared’s Mac LOL.. good fun , started a new trend:

Anyways, yeh sat was pretty chill, no alchy involved LOL =) got home pretty late tho, tiredddd -.-
On SUNDAY!! we went to Colonial hotel for a LUXY girls event.. omg.. the night was pretty crappy.. but got better towards the end =) haha.. went 2 Eric’s house for pre's.. tequila OMG.. that stuff hits u hard LOL.. had a massive buzz for so long.. headed into the city around 9ish, met up with Balwyn ppl :D at MC where we went 2 chogaos for some more pre's LOL.. what a fail.. should have started heading towards colonial.. =.=
ANYWAY.. once we got there.. the line was MASSSIVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEe.. and stationary too.. WOW, even tho we were able to get bumped up (which probs saved us another hr of waiting) we still had to wait for 3hrs ish... omg.. I was so so so so angry as I hate waiting.. and standing.. and it wasn't even the wait in a sluggish line wait.. it was like WAITING and the line wasn’t moving OMGGG :@:@:@ RAGEE!! yeh.. wud have been less RAGE-full if sunny waited with me =] BUT NOOO she jumped the line LOLOLOL jkjkjkjkks.. anyway yeh.. got in around 12:30am.. I know bad yeh.. where did we go.. STRAIGHT to the bar.. downed 3 jager bombs then yeh.. saw sunny&co and ASEAN ppl LOL.. "mingled" with ASEAN committee ppl for a bit hahah but found out they've been there for ages.. so like they were leaving? lol, I was like.. I JUST got in !! fml, damn hope I get some "ASEAN privelages" soon ^_- ahahha.. well yeh.. pretty slow start to the night haha.. got heaps better towards the end tho .. started requesting music to the DJ.. eg my(&DOTS) personal fav - do you remember jay sean LOL t-h-e_______b-e-s-t HAHA..haven’t got sick of it since like 2010 started HAHA... anyway.. yeh danced heaps.. drank a fair bit.. ate maccas after *YUM* and got home at like 6am.. (tnx joeyong) & LOL snuck in, then went 2 bathroom to prep for bed.. then grandpa wakes up and is like "hey! up so early? where are you going today?" LOLOL I’m like "errrr.. nah I couldn't sleep :)" LOL, overall.. bad venue, slow start, awesome ppl, fun night =]. P.S luxy girls were so bad looking and dancing.. they were .tw (??) and they were mouthing to poker face LOL, Q. can they even speak English? haha
MONDAYYYYYYY - slept till like 2pm.. then showered and had a bite to eat.. got rdy for the "ASEAN committee meeting" at Adams house in box hill.. LOL it was like at "rose st" so driving there, I type "rose st" in Google maps on my fone, and then I’m like WOW so close.. got dropped off.... was like errr.. why so quiet?? knocked on the door, only to be answered by some old lady LOL.. I’m like err WTF.. calls sunny : "What’s the address?" "rose street box hill" "I’m THERE ITS NOT IT I SWEAR", checks fone "rose street Doncaster"
LOL FML!!!! haha.. anyway.. got my way there eventually.. was pretty chill, were just chatting and stuff =) etc etc.. finally the guys came back with BBQ food.. and began eating.. omg so much food.. haven’t had a decent bbq in ages LOL.. haha but yeh.. really good BBQ, chill music, great ppl and great conversation.. anyways.. digested a bit.. got pumped for the centurion!!! LOL
for those who don't know what the centurion is.. its taking 100 shots of beer, in 100 mins, every min.. sounds easy yeh? that's what I thought.. LOL, just to break it down; it’s a about 12 bottles of beer in 1hr and 40 mins.. started off alright.. APPARENTLY (according to suntard) I "munted" on the 3rd shot.. but I just laughed coz someone said something funny while I was drinking.. causing the beer to spray everywhere LOL.. didn't get DQ therefore didn’t munt.. silly duck! yeh.. after about 6 shots of beer (half a bottle) I was feeling really bloated.. but tnx to ALEX's theory of patting on the back.. we were constantly burping =) LOL.. anyway.. yeh.. felt really bad.. after about 60 shots.. I was so over it.. it was just like drinking water.. was really tipsy too LOL.. only motivation for completing it.. was so that sunny cud write sunTARD on her ASEAN hoodie !! hahah.. anyway yeh.. moved the centurion to the park.. coz we were too loud. and Adams neighbours were complaining apparently.. then had about 20 shots left.. oh man.. it was like torture LOL.. but yeh.. eventually finished it; so was pretty happy with my efforts.. so did JONO KIM !!! woo only two first year reps to finish HAHA a lot of ppl munted LOL. anyway.. was going to.. and SHOULD have went home when cat offered a lift.. but yeh.. was having too much fun to leave.. haha, so all of us went to grab kebabs after that.. LOL alysssaaaaaa and I cashed out.. then I ended up shouting her coz she ceebs splitting her 20 .. dw she owes me one :) went back to Adams, chilled for a bit, waited for sunny to leave.. then a while later Eric and I went china bar for supper LOL.. had my fav - harm yu gai lup chao farn.. and some milk tea MMM (nah it was actually really gross milk tea..) but yeh.. sobered up.. went home :) another awesome night of fun haha
That concludes my weekend of alcohol fuelled fun HAHA.. and yeh.. been sick since ASEAN camp.. pretty much better now.. just an annoying cough which I get in the early hrs of the morning.. like 2-3am I start coughing =.= (wtf I know right? LOL) yeh..
Went to study at bh lib on TUESDAY.. was pretty productive.. starting to get the hang of bio.. got really bored and ceebs after like 5hrs LOL.. so went 2 chat with Bianca and Kim for the rest of the time I was there HAHA... oh yeah, the dumplings were horrible inside, I think it’s under new management.. because like there was SO Much dough.. and it wasn’t even fried properly? Disappointed . <- Full stop
On WEDNESDAY.. went 2 Monash lib.. was planning 2 go with just Eric, but Bianca was ranting 2 me how she couldn’t study when she’s with her friends {}{} so yeh.. being the gentleman I am, I asked her to come with, since her house is on the way anyway.. LOL then yeh.. another productive day.. did more bio.. did someone say endoplasmic reticulum? HOH!! bio GOD dw! yeh.. camwhored a bit too LOL silly bi
