While you're in Syd!

Hey boys, yeah.. I can't wait till you'se come back tomorrow and hear all your epic stories about your time in Sydney :)

While you guys have been gone, I've been semi preoccupied other than work, catching up with friends here and there =] went to gym with the Gans on Wednesday night, didn't go for very long LOL because Rowan was doing his whole body, and Jarred was doing the "Jarred work-out!" LOL. Watched Toystory 3 on Friday night then went home to sleep because I was drained as from the week, but got called out for a last min catch-up with Kahsern at his place with the company of some kebabs ! Chilled nd played Need 4 Speed on PS2, great game LOL. Caught up with Nat on Satarday for lunch (AI YO LA ERIC! jk) where we ended up placing a 20$ multibet on Germany / Spain and coffee later after dinner, ventured down to S'vale to pick up Susan met up with some ASEAN/other ppl at glenny - then ate at Petaling Street after coffee cause I was craving roti, then bummed with lil B (AIII YO LAR!! lol jks) for a bit before sleeping quite late :(

Today woke up pretty late and hungry! went coffee with JLC, so drove down towards THE AUSTIN/REPAT via BANKSIA st LOL (my 2nd home for the past month) knowing all the shortcuts (LOL), i didn't get lost :) . There she hopped into my car wearing a seedy red trench coat with an ugly scarf (not to mention her messy and untamed hair), at this point in time I was really hesitant to be seen in public with such an atrocity. LOL nahhhhhnah naaa jokes - mega attractiveness alrighttt :) yeh ended up going Glenny (only coffee places I know LOL) coz she's indecisive, nd she can't decide.. where we chilled, bitched and chilled some more... then as it began to get colder and darker we departed on our epic adventure back (to the AUSTIN!)LOL. all in all pretty fun day :) - other than the fact I was busting >=[

Pretty chilled couple of days without you guys, but defs missing the supper sesh's / fifa sesh's, also had no alchy (WIN!) Just ate pizza + bread and butter pudding for dinnersss and contemplating whether to stay up to watch the finals - oh yerrr, ASEAN Booze cruise on the 29th July, gonna be like ASEAN Ball with unlimited beer + champagne and 3 special drink coupons each (but could probly rack a few more!). Expecting you all to be there!

Placements Update

Well after my first week of placements, I've realised a few things... Well I guess it's kinda had positive AND negative effects. I guess the positive side, I'm definitely more reassured that I will enjoy my job in the future, it's got pretty much what I want in a career: very repetitive yet constantly different, tasks can become second nature if done enough times, helping people really gives a sense of warmth inside, workers and working environment are surprisingly chill (even at peak times)and LAST but NOT LEAST able to progress to a high rank if willing to work harder which means allot more $$$$ (and more money for working weekends/evenings..WOW imagine an weekend evening?) :D

But yeah.. It's pretty fun, I get to play around with expensive X-ray equipment and software. Back in the day I was really interested in computers and programming... I'm noticing more and more that as technology improves, it will only benefit the "tech-savvy" people, so I guess that's another plus!

Now to the negative side... There's allot of walking and standing.. And everyone knows how I hate standing/walking LOLOL. Nar on a more serious note - It's rather difficult and not as easy as I thought dealing with patients whom are on the verge of life and death.. it just pains me, especially when their mostly elderly !!

MMMM yeah, other than that, pretty drained I guess but yeah, other than that life is good =]

Placements

Placements start tomorrow !! I'm kind of excited but at the same time kind of scared? LOL - Like I mean, its been a good 3 weeks since I've even touched any of my notes so I'm scared that I've forgotten many things... Hopefully it'll be okay and I'll slowly easy into the whole work/hospital environment.

Just got back from coffee with the boys at Glenny, was kinda ceebs and tired at the start, but had fun overall :). Gonna miss holidays !! Miss watching 4:30am soccer games LOL. Ahh well... Short term pain, long term gain!

Got Aa EOX following Friday too, should be alright, haven't drank any form of alcohol in about a month since Tony's Quiet 19th LOL - so yeah, kind of looking forward I guess :). ASEAN EOX the Friday after that, not to sure if I'm going to that though - even though I know I probably should.

Goodnight, wish me luck on my first taste of "the real world".

Last night I found them 'box' of pictures, each one a
memory of us.
Each one reminds me how we used to be together..
Can we get it back????
